I shot this from the car in the hours leading up to hurricane Sandy coming ashore ....... It was so wet outside ....... It was almost impossible to get out in the pummeling wind ....... My woolly hat had already blown away and the cameras were getting seriously done in ............ Then I saw a guy walking.... He was on his own in walking .... I had seen no one else walking ........ His yellow plastic poncho whipped around him as he crossed the road toward the shuttered and barred gas station.....
