"One small step for... man ....... one giant leap for mankind" ......... Neil Armstrong the first man to walk on the moon is dead. So sad that he is gone. He is the all American hero ...... a world hero really......... Certainly was a hero to me growing up as a young boy in Britain. To be the first man to walk on the moon........ what an incredible thing to have done. I am sad never to have met him.

But I did meet his wing man Buzz Aldrin .......... Buzz was a good guy still impressive and generous with his time on my shoot a couple of years back. And generous to the young daughter of a friend that we took with us on the shoot because she wanted to go into space when she grows up ....... So taking her on the assignment gave her a chance to meet a man that had been to the moon on that first mission ......... yes I am proud to have met Buzz. My Condolences to all Neil Armstrong's admirers and friends and of course his family. Here above is Buzz Aldrin from that shoot in a New York Hotel.
