The Photographers Gallery is back !!!!!!!! I went to an opening night party this evening ........ very nice event....... I had a nice chat with the Director Brett Rogers .......... Anyway the whole place looks fantastic .......... the old premises has been zapped up and enlarged in the last 18 months ......... its all very cool .......... and apparently they now have twice as much gallery space........... The exhibition on at the moment is by Edward Burtynsky ......... his amazing images are entitled Oil........ and are really a meditation on the landscape created by our dependency on oil........... Tomorrow Sunday is the book launch of Anders Petersen's Soho ......... I had a sneek peek .......... it's a great book.......... if u r within striking distance ......... you could pick up a signed copy....... as Anders will be there in person.......... Yeah...... Get down there....... treat yourself........ and celebrate the new look Photographers Gallery on this its opening weekend :-))))))))))
