The last few days have been total madness......... incredibly long shoot days up in New Hampshire ........ and then another incredibly long shoot day on the National Mall.......... it was seriosly wet out there on Sunday........ this makes everything ten times more difficult and taxing........ rain covers and coats for me and the cameras and freezing soaking feet....... all day in the mud.......... the torrential rain all day did affect the numbers for this out door music festival to celebrate Earth day......... still a fair few people were watching it on the web.......... the Earthday network managed to achieve a billion pledges for acts of green online....... thats pretty mega impressive.......... and must in itself make a difference to our planet........ all our old friends running Earthday Networks celebration of Earthday on the Mall were there again ......... so it was nice to catch up with old friends and see the hard core environmentalists brave the weather out in the crowd and on stage as speakers ....... Jessie Jackson made a moving speech linking the human rights and civil rights to saving the planet......... I enjoyed myself despite the appalling weather........ although the constant rain is terrible for cameras and lenses.......... :-/////////

The head liners and certainly the star performers in terms of generating a response from the crowd was the band 'Cheap Trick'........... they were fantastic fun........ they played real tight .......... but they mess about like crazy........ joking through out their set............

I was up at 5AM .... trying to catch the back log of editing bla..........

Im in the air heading for Detroit right now........ about to be wheels down in Rock City :-))))))))

Now I am hearing my name being paged on the ground at Detroit gotta run........
