Well, here is an old one I had almost forgotten about......... This one come from way, way back in the day....... At the dawn of time....... Before I was a professional photojournalist ........ before I was even a photographic student I think .......... hehehe........ It\'s a photograph of me old mate Mark France being dragged off and arrested on a \'Victory to the Miners\' demo in Trafalgar Sq London during the mighty Miners Strike of 1984/85 when the NUM was on strike against the Thatcher Government and radicals of every stripe were in the streets to support the striking miners ....... I have not really seen Mark since back in those days........ but thanks to the joys of Facebook we have been back in touch of late ......... he seems to have lost non of his old radicalism :-))....... he is working with the Green Party and the impressively named: \'Bromsgrove Underground Movement\' ...... \'BUM\'....... hehehehehe................ Anyway Mark was wondering if I still had on file somewhere pictures of radical politics in Birmingham from way back featuring strikingly handsome Youth CND types..... and what have you :-)) ......... I had them still....... but I had to dig pretty deep in the Insight Storage Bunker here in Atlanta............ these pictures have lain undisturbed for many years until today...... its like robbing the grave of the Pharaohs when you finally open the sealed boxes to see what is inside.......
