Well inevitably it is 2AM again...... no 3AM....... Agggghhhhhhhh......... gotta get all these pics downloaded so I can kip........... had a few problems with security today in Lagos ....... no actual security problems but the fear that there might be some leads some people to be afraid to go along with things I was planning...... its sad to have that as a constant worry in your life..... it must be exhausting for people living here........... Mind you at least that was somebody genuinely worrying about my safety....... my fave bit of security nuttiness came from a manager at the 'Eko Hotels and Suites' who threw me out for having camera equipment insisting it was against security to have camera kit ....... when I was explaining we had come to make a picture of a guest at her hotel she went into a rage at the guest.......... hehehehe........ I was trying to say take it easy its not his fault you don't want to be rude to your guest....... she proclaimed stridently.... "I am the General Manager of the hotel I can be rude to any guest if I choose "....... er ....... and she certainly proceeded to make her point.......... got to say..... sure its her prerogative...... but then why on earth would anyone stay there?

The picture above is just a snatched scene as we drove by today ......... I love that vibe of a snatched moment in an unexplained drama..... I almost feel I could write a play or a book taking this scene as the opening..............

Ah ha........ big power cut........so now I am in total darkness apart from the screen.........might be hard to post this now..........
