I was down at the Occupy St Paul's protest in the City this evening......... The Arch Bishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams seemed to show more sympathy with the protestors today in his statements ........ certainly much more than to the bankers that are seemingly the main target of the protest ......... bankers are a popular target ....... with their ever growing bonuses and income........... it even seemed that all passers-by hated bankers too. St Paul's Cathedral pulled out of legal action against the protestors and apparently therefore, so did the City of London........... so those protestors......... they might be able to stay on ......... for a while longer yet at least.

I was interested to see more of the Guy Fawkes masks in action on this side of the Atlantic ........ This 'Guy' calls himself Lord V............ he is an Anonymous UK activist............... :-))

It was hard to know the masked people ......... cos they were wearing masks :-)) ........ I started some conversations with people behind the masks ......... people I naturally assumed were political activists types .......... only to discover they were actually local homeless people hanging out for the warmth of the tents and some food...... they were aggressive about being photographed ........ and were hitting me up for a beer....... their presence made the whole protest seem more gritty....... but also properly authentic ......... and more justified. :-)))))))))))))
