The rise and rise of Guy Fawkes as an icon of the left is interesting........ a bloke caught trying to bring back the dominance of the papacy........... by attempting to destroy the rise of more modern forms of democracy with dynamite ........ oh well history schmistory........ as Steve M likes of say........ the Guy Fawkes mask has become a new feature of radical protest since the movie V for Vendetta hit prominence ........ even that movie would probably have been better served with a good old Che Guevara mask :-))))) hehehe....... but no Guy Fawkes it is........ now the new icon of the left :-)) ........ seen here on a post at the Occupy Wall St protest alongside an upside down US Flag.
