Well it was all going too well.......... I am here in NYC....... but inevitably....... the hold bag did not make it..........

Its kind of my fault........ I probably had 15 seconds till the final legal cut off time for hold bags to be accepted on the flight out of Atlanta ............ which is OK if your bag is not filled with lighting gear......... the kind of bag that will just never drift through X-ray machines........ they always gotta open it........... every time....... which means if u r at cut off time....... the bag will miss the flight ....... oh well hopefully it will be delivered tomorrow as this was the midnight flight........ :-///

So then I got this guy (above) as my taxi driver ........ His name is Itzhak ...... he looks a little kind of scary and at first only appears to speak Russian........ as he is speaking Russian to his mates at the taxi rank ........ but in the end turns out to be a fab bloke and we have a nice chat ............. he is very interested in photography even used to own an F3 which was a good solid Nikon Pro camera back in the days of film........... he came from Russia originally ......... but had then lived 13 years in Israel.......... thought I was crazy to have been to Gaza....... on my own..... but thats another story ........ he has been a taxi driver here in NYC for 7 years now............. he might have got a better picture made........ but he was very keen to see the results rather than just let me get on and shoot.......... he thought I should use a strobe/flash........ he might be right ....... hehehehe........:-))))
