I just heard from my friend with a lovely little house 80 feet from the water on the Chesapeake Bay........ Hurricane Irene is coming ........ They are evacuating some of the villages on her peninsula ...... It's so drastic the weather in the US..........

Today I went to Tate Modern to look at the work of Luc Delahaye and other artists while I am here in London........ it was pouring with rain of course....... as I walked back over the Millennium Bridge I shot this on the little Sony NEX5........ the rain poured down and water was literally dripping down my neck as I made this picture ......... hey we Brits have grim weather here in the UK........ but is rarely truly drastic as it often is in the USA.

Good Luck to Chris and all my friends out on the Chesapeake Bay...... and Lynda and Jane in North Carolina ......... Good Luck to everyone worrying as the Hurricane track shows they are in the line of fire........ I hope everyone comes through unscathed and their houses and property survive without too much drama.
