In this picture : Celebrating Freedom in South Africa ...... at the first Election of Nelson Mandela ........ Tonight, I'm watching events in Tripoli on TV........ Lets hope some kind of freedom comes to Libya without too much further bloodshed........

Although it's sounding rather like the hopes that it was all over seem rather premature .......... Saif al-Islam Gaddafi the son of Muammar Gaddafi ....... has just spoken to the BBC...... The rebels having been claiming all day that they had captured him. Obviously he was not captured or had somehow escaped. Anyway it appears there is still a way to go before the 42 year dictatorship of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi falls....... the battle still rages.

Im not even sure the end of this Gaddafi regime will bring proper democratic freedoms. But hey ordinary Libyans deserve it all right............ I'm listening to sounds and watching visions of this desperate ordinary peoples war against their dictatorship....... wooow its tragic ......... who knows what all this will lead to......... but those guys they deserve something like the freedom they say they want....... after having risked and lost so much to throw off their oppression. :-////////
