Today the rain and storms were finally clearing from Long Island and from The Hamptons ........... today it was fantastic as I was strolling down the beach at Southampton ........ it was just totally fantastic and almost empty ........ but there were a hardy few ready to swim and mess about on the beach even though the storms were only just clearing......... I walked down the beach with the little Sony NEX5 camera .......... the light was great as sun popped in and out of the dark clouds.......... I really love beaches when they are like this ........ In the past I have even been to the Hampton's beaches in Autumn/Fall....... when pretty well everyone has gone back to the city and the beaches are left wild cold windswept ........... and you know what ?........ It's also just completely amazing.
