The Beast car has had a nice couple of months resting in Matt\'s garage to get over its last big trip to Florida ........ then it had a bit of a drastic wake-up shock to the system .......... I drove it up to DC for a shoot ....... then on to NYC........ on that trip on Friday we stealthily snuck through Virginia...... without any cop hassle........ then on to NYC on Sunday....... now on Wednesday Matt has suddenly and weirdly come up with a requirement for us to burn back to Virginia........ I know ......... is he mad......... Not Virginia !!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAggggggggggghhhhh.............

So today....... I had a couple of meetings in NYC......... finished those at about 3PM......... then jumped back in the Beast and burned out of New York, through New Jersey and then on through Pennsylvania then a a tiny bit of Maryland and a little bit of West Virginia then finally back into Virginia itself :- /////////

I came that way on the I78 partly to avoid driving in Virginia for as much as possible.............

Anyway you will be glad to know me and the Beast are staying in a fab little grim Motel......... see above .......... I love these places.......... I love it when the car is backed up to the room ......... so you can just load the cameras in and out without the drama of trolleys and elevators and helpers.

I love any little motel like this.......... nice clean bed......... nice clean operational shower...........air-con / heat.......... car next to the room.......... what more could anyone ask for in a hotel room :-))

The Beast had a little tender love from Scottie of Big G\'s garage up in the Bronx yesterday at 222 street and Boston Rd........... man those guys were great......... put the Beast through its emissions and safety test replaced a bulb that they showed me needed doin charged me literally a couple of dollars to do it plus the NYC test put on new wipers for free ............ Those guys are my new fave Garage blokes........... another garage in Manhattan had said the Beast needed $2000 of work done........ I knew this was not true........ so I took it for a second opinion........ and I am glad I did......... Big G\'s thats the place you want to go to ......... fine mechanics and fine honest blokes too :-))
