It takes a very long time to recover from the trauma of war .............. I am listening to the BBC world Service .......... a woman is weeping..........

Finally former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic has been placed in a UN detention unit to await trial on genocide charges at the Hague - 16 long years after being charged with the killing of 8,000 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica ..........

A mother weeps on the BBC radio now.......... Remembering the loss of her husband and son back then ............. it is a terrible tragic sobbing......... I am listening to this while posting the picture above........

The trauma of losing their comrades has not left the Vietnam Vets either ......... even though 40 years have passed since they returned from the war............
