I walked down the Grand Union Canal here in Warwickshire close to my parents house......... it was all foggy...... the canal barges that people lived on had little coal stoves burning........ the canal itself was totally frozen over....... I had lunch in a canal side pub......... which served the most fantastic treacle pudding with custard for desert.......... it was great although they were a right drag about allowing Ringo in............ anyway I kind of felt like I deserved treacle pudding having walked a little way in the freezing fog......... :-))
