I am listening to the BBC radio documentary 'Freedom from Fear'............ about the incredible human being....... Aung San Suu Kyi......... the last rightfully elected leader of Burma who has spent nearly all of the last 20 years under house arrest held by the Military Junta who jailed her and never let her actually take power.

Here is hoping that she will be released today ......... that she can help the Burmese people get out from under the heel of the Junta and make a true democracy............ That she and they go on to live in a country that has at last the 'Freedom from Fear' they so deeply deserve.

I have never been to Burma........... I have no pictures that are specifically appropriate......... Then my eye fell on this beautiful flower that I saw in Belize after a huge storm ....... It seemed the perfect image to consider as I listen to the story of the life of Aung San Suu Kyi.
