Congratulations to the 33 Chilean Miners and their families...... They have survived underground longer and been rescued from deeper than anyone else in mining history......... Congratulations to the people of Chile !!!!!!!!!

Ive never photographed Chilean miners......... but I have photographed in West Virginia Mines....... I bet miners families in West Virginia are glad to hear every one of the 33 miners trapped 700 meters below the surface for the last 2 months are now out.

Its amazing....... heart warming to see them hug their children and wives........ to see them step back from death......... to have another chance......... people across the world joined the people of Chile in celebrating........ mining families everywhere must have smiled and wished them well........ but no doubt there was sadness too for West Virginia men who died in this past year........ no doubt that sadness would have overwhelmed some from west Virginia ....... sadness for mining families not so lucky as those families from Chile.

The traditional risk of mining has not gone....... thats the miracle of this survival..... this rescue...... against all the odds 69/70 days after the collapse....... every single miner has been rescued none have died in this accident ....... a miracle...... Viva the rescuers! ..... Viva the miners! Viva the people of Chile !!!!!!!
