I've just completed the second twelve hour shoot day in a row....... Im feeling slightly done in........ and I need to set my alarm for 4AM to be on a call to Europe......... ah well.......... no rest for the wicked........... :-)

On the blog and by email I'm getting a bit of heat for sounding even the vaguest bit sympathetic in any way to the 'pro gun' 'right to bear arms' types........ so here is something from the : "Can it really be a good idea for everyone to have a gun ? Perspective..........."

Matt and I had been digging through the E6 color files ........ finding stuff I had almost forgotten from the dim and distant days of film .......... here is a shocking thing I shot while out with the cops in Pheonix Arizona way back in the day ......... I remember even at the time it was not clear why this man was shot in the neck or excatly how it happened........ but it was , I recall, pretty critical to get him to hospital...... straight away.
