Its 4AM here in Texas...... Im listening to the BBC election coverage from London...... The result..... is well...... not a result.......... Gordon Brown has not conceaded defeat....... but David Cameron has not claimed victory either......I heard Gordon Brown say he will attempt to bring Britain 'strong and stable government' even though he appears to have effectively lost the election ...... certainly more people have voted Conservative..... but its possible Gordon Brown's Labour Party could ...... by forming an alliance with the Liberal Democrats ......... maybe have an some kind of coalition government........ instead of resigning.......... Gordon could carry on...... as Prime Minister......... mind you Peter Mandleson a leading Labour figure appeared to suggest the possibility of throwing Gordon Brown out as PM to win a working alliance with the Lib Dems........ er.......... this is all whacky rare stuff constitutionally for Britain....... which has had very few coalition governments.......... I think two smaller parties have never allied to out vote down the largest party........ I guess more likely is an alliance of some kind between the Conservatives (the largest party in the commons) and the Liberal Democrats (the third largest party)....... watch this space..........

For some reason this picture I shot yesterday in a newly renovated Hilton Hotel in Houston reminds me of the plight of Gordon Brown.......... hehehehe.........
