I see Orlando Zapata Tamayo, a 42-year-old plumber has died while on hunger strike in a Cuban jail. A dissident and protester for human rights he was originally given a 3 year sentence for 'Disrespecting the State' due to his protesting. His protests were a vain attempt to win the freedom of another imprisoned human rights activist. While in prison Orlando's sentence was increased from 3 to 36 years. He was on hunger strike against the prison conditions and had been for 83 days according to Amnesty International.

Sickeningly I see Raul Castro has expressed his regret at the prisoners death. Disgusting.
