Kind of disturbing this. I saw it today while walking down the canal. I thought I might call it 'Beauty and Accusation from the Detritus'. As I was trying to make the picture people kept ringing me up.... boats and sluice gates were moving the slick. In the minute or so I was speaking..... she was gone.

I was just watching this........ http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/feb/21/photographer-films-anti-terror-arrest the arrest of an amateur photographer photographing Christmas festivals in the North of England....... seriously depressing....... the erosion of the ordinary right to make photographs in Britain is shocking ............ It will soon be impossible to photograph at all in the UK ....... this was on a day with Santa Claus and a marching band...... still the police think its suspicious and 'Anti-social' to make photographs..... what about on an ordinary day?...... I would give my details just to not be arrested but I understand why he did not...... he has done nothing...... his actions constitute no risk of terror or any kind of anti-social behavior to pretend they do is laughable........ The police are making photography illegal even though it is not....... he spent hours locked up for making a few pictures.
